MEET OUR PRESENTERS
Since first meeting while working in the Grand Canyon for the National Park Service, the ‘Adventures of Ellen and Larry’ have taken them over miles of trails. They have completed the 800-mile Arizona Trail 5 times; they recently published a photography book, Along the Arizona Trail, highlighting the spectacular diversity along that path. Sierra hikes have included the High Sierra Trail as well as the JMT (4 times). As older hikers, they tackled the Pacific Crest Trail, Colorado Trail, highpoints of many states, the rugged terrain of canyon country in Utah, as well as foreign trips in the Himalayas, South America, and Africa.
