Backpacking across the Sierra Nevada as a high school freshman changed Chris Casado’s life forever. Now, Casado wants to use that experience to help change the lives of others. Join Chris and Mike Murphy (5th grade teacher at Gettysburg Elementary in Clovis), co-founders of the Trans-Sierra Xtreme Challenge for a digital presentation of their favorite trans-Sierra adventure, a week-long 75-mile journey across remote sections of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks to the summit of Mt. Whitney (14,505 feet), and beyond.
