Description There are “summer camps” – and then there is camping in the summer, while backpacking across the Sierra over the course of a week to the summit of Mt. Whitney (14,505 feet), the tallest mountain in the contiguous US. Join us to learn more about how highly motivated 13-17 year old students can join once-in-a-lifetime summer program designed to develop the next generation of environmental stewards through a transformative backcountry experience. Immerse in the environmental science practices and challenges present in Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park.
