Dara Kelly

I grew up in suburbia and first escaped to Vermont’s Green Mountains at age nineteen. After spending several summers leading backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing trips in New England, I moved out to California to work as a river guide. Since then I’ve spent over a decade working in remote wilderness areas in the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, Alaska, and my home in the Southwest.

What’s the motivation? I am passionate about breaking down barriers to the outdoors and providing transformative experiences that feel both inclusive and supportive for all. I am motivated by people’s stories, past and present, and strive to build lifelong connections to the places and people we meet when we slow down enough to really look, listen and explore.
