Description

If you’ve never heard of Tehipite Valley, you’re not alone. Hiding among the towering granite peaks in the central Sierra is a valley of mythical proportions that beckons the adventurous soul. Join us on an inspirational digital adventure as we explore this remote Sierra gem with raging rivers, cascading waterfalls, pristine swimming and fishing holes, and the largest granite dome of the Sierra. We’ll discuss routes to the valley, major challenges, permits, logistics, safety considerations and more.

Chris first backpacked the Sierra to Mt. Whitney in the early 90s. He completed the John Muir Trail in 1997, and founded TSX Challenge in 2011 as a way to positively impact the lives of others through inspirational backpacking experiences.
