If you’ve hiked the Grand Canyon’s Rim-to-Rim route or are considering it, this talk is for you. Join us for an inspiring hour exploring a lesser-known, crowd-free Rim-to-Rim backpacking route on one of the canyon’s most breathtaking trails. Discover how to cross the mighty Colorado by packraft—no bridges required. We’ll cover permits, planning, logistics, and everything you need to know. Whether you’re gearing up for a solo adventure or joining a guided trek, this session will leave you ready and inspired for a challenge unlike any other.

Chris is the co-founder of TSX Challenge. He’s been backpacking remote destinations the across the west since the early 90s and loves inspiring others to step outside their comfort zone and do the same. He lives in Orinda, Ca with his growing family.
