Description

Join us for a fun, interactive experience where we’ll discuss three Trans-Sierra routes to Mt. Whitney that enter from the west side of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. Learn about each route, trail head access, permits and key highlights. Our target format is 30 minutes of interactive presentation followed by up to 30 minutes of discussion and Q&A. Chris first backpacked the Sierra to Mt. Whitney in the early 90s. He completed the John Muir Trail in 1997, and founded TSX Challenge in 2011 as a way to positively impact the lives of others through inspirational backpacking experiences.
