We have officially crossed the midway point in our spring season and summer is on the horizon. As we wind down in the Grand Canyon, that means it’s time to gear up in the Sierra!

We have officially crossed the midway point in our spring season and summer is on the horizon. As we wind down in the Grand Canyon, that means it’s time to gear up in the Sierra!

Here is a quick run down of our upcoming summer experiences:

Hell For Sure Challenge: Don’t let the name fool you, this is our most playful route perfect for people new to backpacking. Join a 5 day, 40 mile loop in John Muir Wilderness full of mountain vistas and more than a dozen alpine lakes. Trips run June to August but June is fully booked and space is limited in July and August. Book Here >>>

Mt. Goddard Challenge: This is a riff on the Hell For Sure route, adding an extra 10 mile detour to climb Mt. Goddard (13,563 ft.). This route is perfect for people who want to push themselves a little harder and summit one of the most remote and inspirational peaks in the Sierra. Of the three trips we’ll be running in August and September, one is fully booked, with limited space remaining on the other two. Book Here >>>

Trans-Sierra Extreme (TSX) Challenge: Our flagship backpacking experience and our namesake. This one week, 75 mile traverse of the Sierra Nevada range culminates with a ascent of Mt. Whitney (14,505 ft). This challenge will take you into some of the most remote parts of California’s wilderness for an awe-inspiring experience you won’t find anywhere else. We have four trips planned July – September but they are mostly full. Try booking or you can contact us to get on the waiting list if there are any cancellations. Book Here >>>
