Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

The snow build up in the Sierra is going to make for an incredible summer in the back country. Here are a few shots from the summer following our last big wet winter (2011).

In case you’ve missed it, California has been experiencing a ton of wet weather this winter.  The snow build up in the Sierra is going to make for an incredible summer in the back country. We are expecting to encounter snow and LOTS of water on the trail! Here are a few shots from the summer following our last big wet winter (2011). Don’t miss it! We have five spots remaining on our super early July 12-20, 2017 Trans-Sierra Xtreme Challenge trek, and expect to see snow through our early August trek.

Chris first backpacked the Sierra to Mt. Whitney in the early 90s. He completed the John Muir Trail in 1997, and founded TSX Challenge in 2011 as a way to positively impact the lives of others through inspirational backpacking experiences.
